Wasteless AI is proud to announce that we have planted 10,000 trees this month, boosting the environmental impact our US-based clients and their phenomenal employees are generating through embracing our waste-preventing AI technology.

We will continue to plant one tree for every 100 pounds of products saved with Wasteless AI’s smart discounts, to restore forests and sequester as much CO2 as possible.

Why Trees?

Our mission is to keep our planet healthy for the next generations. The negative impact that food waste has on the environment can be drastically reduced with technology that keeps fresh products on plates rather than in landfills.

Planting trees is a symbolic extension of our sustainability efforts – we aim to expand our impact to a broader extent by restoring forests in specific, high-potential areas to lessen CO2, the major greenhouse gas component. Reforestation creates powerful social impacts such as female farmer empowerment, the preservation of tradition and culture, and increased income for marginalized communities.

Where are trees planted?

While this initiative is in action all around the world, our primary focus on areas where our customers operate, or where severe climate disasters, such as wildfires, floods, epidemics or droughts, have occurred. Specifically, the 10,000 trees planted across the US in August 2024 have been in Oregon, Alabama, Wyoming, Montana and Florida.

Outside the US, we are also planting trees in France, Germany, Argentina, Spain and Italy.
